Air Hockey, sort of

    If you are a PE Teacher, have you noticed that random people love to share PE ideas with you? Sometimes I will get the same games sent to me several times by different people, as if I had not already seen the idea or tried it. 😂

    Well, this is one of those games - a variation of Air Hockey played on the floor. This was a little annoying to set-up. As you can see, the noodles are held in place by floor tape. That didn't work very well. So from class to class, repair jobs had to be done to reinforce the noodles. 

    The students use frisbees to hit a bean bag back and forth. If the bean bag goes past the ends of the the noodles, they score a point. This kept my students engaged for a few minutes. So, it works great for a warm-up activity. However, it wasn't worth the effort in my opinion.

    I gave it a try. Now, when eager people share it with me, I can politely tell them that I have been there, done that. 😄
